...Everyone but yourself can free your mind, and we all choose not to.
- NotquiteunBuckley, a TMR heckler, not altogether "up" on how racism is being dealt with, toe-to-toe, here
So - "everyone" could stop this, but they "all choose not to" - as they'd rather watch me struggle alone with it? Well, along with that being nothing new, it certainly explains why I always have so much material to work with:
“Last week,...the FBI accused [a] couple of enslaving an Indonesian woman who is in her early 20s. For four years, reads the indictment, they created "a climate of fear and intimidation through rape and other means." The slave woman cooked, cleaned, took care of the children, and performed other tasks for little or no pay, fearing that if she did not obey, "she would suffer serious harm."
The two Saudis face charges of forced labor, aggravated sexual abuse, document servitude, and harboring an alien. If found guilty, they could spend the rest of their lives in prison. The government also wants to seize the couple's Al-Basheer bank account to pay their former slave $92,700 in back wages.
No, as the American experience with slavery continues to prove, religion can be THE prime ingredient for cruelty,...
You can't be loved, so don't (think about) being loved.ReplyDelete
Let them fool you. Oh yeah.
And even change ya, oh yeah.
You don't have a mind of your own.
So go to Heaven if what you're thinking isn't right.
Love will always leave you alone; against the light there must come out pure black.
Bob Marley was a racist of course, so I ingeniously invert his lyrics and become The Anti-racist. You will need to pay me for this.
Passed out this morning,ReplyDelete
Missed the rising sun.
Heard three large birds, outside the neighbors doorstep, singing racist songs, of melodies white and evil:
This ain't my message to you who who.
Worry. About everything.
No big thing, is gonna turn out right.
So just worry, about everything, (worry 'bout everything now) every big thing, gonna turn out wrong.
