It's The UFOlogist's Cross To Bear
"Sure, what's the harm in believing in two things with no physical evidence?"
-- The Onion, America's greatest news source, regarding the Vatican's statement that belief in extraterrestrials is not contradictory with church doctrine.
This is frustrating. Practically all the reports I've seen have credited this to "the Vatican"--implying that it came from the Pope himself, or at least had his apporoval. In fact, it came from the Vatican's chief astronomer, who has a history of making batty comments.
